PolyStart 8-30-5
(Florida Product Only) A starter fertilizer with two sources of polyphosphates, providing extended availability of phosphorous in most soil types.
PolyStart promotes early root growth and can be used in most seeded and transplanted crops. Early root development, in turn, will establish the plant in the field more quickly and encourage vigorous top growth. PolyStart is a highly effective fertilizer which not only works within the plant supplying valuable primary nutrients but also works as a soil amendment in stimulating mycorrhyzae or other soil bacteria which, in their symbiotic relationship with growing plants at the root level, contribute to the growth, well-being and productivity of those plants.
COMPATIBILITY
PolyStart when added to the spray tank water, will lower the water pH, and can be used in combination with pesticides. However, in unfamiliar mixtures use a “jar compatibility” test.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
SOIL APPLICATION: Tomatoes and other vegetables, grapes, small fruits, leaf crops, peanuts, cotton, tobacco, and other agronomic crops, ornamentals, flower crops and turf: Use 1 to 2 quarts PolyStart per acre in planting or transplant water applied with seeder, plug mix, or transplant machine. Citrus, tropical fruits, peaches and other deciduous fruits, pecans and other nuts: Use 2 to 3 quarts of PolyStart in 100 gallons of water. Drench each tree with one gallon of solutions at, or soon after planting. For larger trees and shrubs, use 1 gallon of solution for each inch of trunk diameter at ground level. Ornamental Plants: Mix 1 to 2 quarts PolyStart in 100 gallons of water and apply as a drench for seedlings and transplants.
FOLIAR APPLICATION: Mix 1 to 2 quarts PolyStart in 100 gallons of water.
AERIAL APPLICATION: Use 1 to 2 quarts of PolyStart in at least 15 gallons of water per acre. It is recommended that this product be added to the tank as the last ingredient.
FERTIGATION: Apply 1 to 2 quarts PolyStart per acre via low volume irrigation.
